EKKAΘAPIΣTE MIΓAΔEΣ KAI AKAΘAPTA - Young Justice: The Comic

This despicable enchantment, EKKAΘAPIΣTE MIΓAΔEΣ KAI AKAΘAPTA (Ekkathariste migades kai akatharta) roughly translated as "Clean the impure and half-breeds," uses ancient Atlantean blood magic to strip away another's powers, leaving them weak and vulnerable. While it had no effect on those directly descended from the original Atlanteans of Old Atlantis, close proximity and prolonged exposure to the spell could lead to permanent power loss and in extreme cases death

On September 7, 2010, Ocean Master successfully cast this spell, combining the power of Neptune's Trident and the life force of Queen Mera Nereus to do so. This allowed his cult of Atlantean Purists to ambush and attack those in Poseidonis they deemed "impure" and inferior.

However, before they could cause permanent damage, the young Atlantean Garth thwarted Orm, using the powers of the Tempest to momentarily disarm the prince. Separated from the trident, this break in concentration was enough to reverse the spell.

Neptune's Trident - Young Justice: The Comic

A powerful magical artifact used by the masked super-villain Ocean Master, Neptune's Trident is a deadly weapon in his hands, making him a dangerous opponent capable of defeating even High King Orin in single combat.

Though it is not inherently evil, it can be used to channel cruel and devastating enchantments. The trident has the ability to drain the life force out of its victims and steal or redirect a target's magic.

Additionally, it can tap into ancient blood magic and perform a hex so powerful that it could seriously weaken anyone who is not directly descended from the first Atlanteans.

Roy G. Bivolo - Earth Prime - The Flash: Season Seven

The alter-ego of the original Rainbow Raider, Roy G. Bivolo was a metahuman living in Central City.

Using his abilities of pathokenesis to control others’ emotions - primarily rage - he became a costumed super-criminal and enemy of The Flash.

Rainbow Raider - Earth Prime - The Flash: Season Seven

A criminal known around Central City by his sobriquet, The Rainbow Raider, Roy G. Bivolo weaponised his pathokientic abilities to manipulate people's emotions just by looking into their eyes. This power, which Caitlin Snow and Cisco Ramon dubbed "the whammy effect" filled his victims with extreme hatred, anger and violence. The effects were not permanent and tended to dissipate after a short period. It was very rare for these effects to last longer than 48 hours.

He has crossed paths with The Flash and his team on several occasions. During their last encounter, he was ultimately defeated when the Scarlet Speedster used a prismatic light grid to neutralize his powers, allowing the CCPD to safely take him into custody.

In 2021, a new metahuman criminal named Carrie Bates, who also went by the name Rainbow Raider, or Rainbow Raider 2.0 to differentiate, began a string of thefts using a similar method. Although Bates shared the same ability as her predecessor, she was considered to be far more powerful. Tapping into every colour of the electromagnetic spectrum, she could emit rainbow light as vibrational energy.

Edmund - Pokémon: Sword & Shield

A member of Team Yell Edmund lived in Spikemuth, where he worked at the gym, selling merchandise to visitors. He owned a Kantonian Mr Mime that he affectionately called Mymo. Even though he loved his Barrier Pokémon, he always desired to have an Obstagoon, the signature partner Pokémon of his boss and friend, Piers.

When he was not working, he travelled across Galar chanting and cheering for Marnie, Spikemuth's home-girl and representative in the current Galar Gym Challenge.

Meeting Marnie's competitors Victor and Gloria at the Spikemuth Gym, the pair started chatting about their experience in the gym challenge. When Victor mentioned that he had caught an Obstagoon, Edmund got really excited, going off on a tangent about the Blocking Pokémon.

Finding Mymo to be fun to play with, Victor proposed to trade the Mr Mime for Obstagoon, adding that he would make a fine addition to his team. Accepting the deal, he wished his friend goodbye, asking the young Postwick trainer to take care of Mymo.

Aegles - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Romantically involved with Theseus, Aegles's relationship with the Duke of Athens ended when he cheated on her with Titania, Queen of Fairyland.

While Titania dismissed the event as the jealous ravings of her husband Oberon, the Fairy King was angered by her hypocrisy, citing it as one of the many reasons that the two violently opposed one another.

Antiopa - A Midsummer Night's Dream

One of the many spurned lovers of Theseus, Duke of Athens, Antiopa (also known as Antiope) was Queen of the Amazons and a fierce warrior defeated in battle. Their relationship broke down after she discovered he had cheated on her with Titania, the Fairy Queen.

When Oberon confronted Titania about her multiple affairs with the duke, she denied all his claims, calling them jealous falsehoods.

Antiopa shares a lot of similarities with Thesueus' new bride, Hippolyta. Both were Amazonian Queens, admired for their skill in battle and warfare.

Ariadne - A Midsummer Night's Dream

The former lover of Theseus, Duke of Athens, Ariadne and Theseus parted ways after the latter engaged in a sexual relationship with the Fairy Queen, Titania.

She was not the first woman Theseus cheated on with Titania, and was not the last, going on to have an affair with Antiopa before finally settling down with his latest paramour, Hippolyta.

Red Kryptonite Self-Sustaining Heart - Smallville: Season Eleven

Despite graciously accepting the device from Lois Lane, John Corben, aka "Metallo" ultimately rejected the gifted Red Kryptonite Cybertronic Self-Sustaining Heart, concluding it was incompatible with his body.

While operating as an agent for Marionette Ventures, he procured a brand new model from The Toyman, which allowed him to absorb and weaponise Green Kryptonite.

The Marionette Ventures - Smallville: Season Eleven

Founded by Winslow Schott, aka "The Toyman", to hunt down and assassinate costumed superheroes, the Marionette Ventures failed to complete any of its objectives and ultimately folded.

During his time on the short-lived team, the mercenary John Corben, aka Metallo, was provided with a brand-new Self-Sustaining Heart powered by Green Kryptonite and assigned to assassinate Supergirl.

Unlike the previous model that the Kandorians had fitted him with, this device could absorb the radiation emitted from the irradiated mineral, utilising it as both a battery and an offensive weapon.

Val-El's Sample of Black Mercy - Krypton: Season One

First discovered by Val-El during his numerous illegal travels across the universe, the Kryptonian scientist took a sample of Black Mercy back to his home planet of Krypton for further research.

There, he displayed this sapling in his Fortress of Solitude, experimenting on the plant until his incarceration in the Phantom Zone.

It would remain there until General Dru Zod instigated a coup, taking over Krypton and declaring himself its ruler. He would confiscate the plant, going on to use it for his own machinations.

Black Mercy - Krypton: Season Two

An unstable species of parasitic flora discovered by Val-El while illegally travelling and exploring space, the Black Mercy was a powerful and dangerous organism.

When affixed to a host, burying its roots into their brain and nervous system, they can create hallucinations so vivid that the victim believes the alternate reality they witness is the real thing. The only way to overcome the effects of the plant is to actively reject the hallucination, something that very few people had the strength and willpower to achieve.

Experiencing Black Mercy first-hand during his own travels, as someone from the future, Dru-Zod believed it to be an ideal weapon of choice in his arsenal; concluding that few people had the perception to see through the illusions and even fewer had the willingness to give up on their fantasy world to return to reality.

In the unlikelihood of being removed from the host, the parasitic organism left a residual - non-lethal - virus in their system that required the application of Hantha root for complete recovery.

Stolen from El's Fortress of Solitude by the ruling general, after organising a military coup d'état, he used samplings of the Black Mercy to overpower and sedate his disapproving mother, Sagitari commander Lyta-Zod. Placing her in a medically induced coma, he kept her a secret from the rest of Krypton, deploying a clone to perform her regular duties and ensure the continuation of his authoritarian governance.

Months later, wishing to weaponize the invincible killing machine, Doomsday, Zod ordered his chief scientist, Lis-Ser, to extract the plant's naturally produced toxins and inject them into his bloodstream. Successfully seizing control of the rampaging beast, he soon turned him loose on The Rebel forces located on the nearby moon of Wegthor, wiping out the majority of their troopers in a full-on assault on their headquarters.

Ser considered the half-life of the toxin to be "limitless," with Zod reasoning that anyone exposed to a pure dosage could be under its influence permanently if not treated. Even a being as strong as Doomsday, "the mythical beast of the Outlands," fell under its influence, with little resistance, at least enough to keep him in a susceptible and suggestive state.

However, this inadvertently led to Dru's downfall after the Black Mercy, damaged by the repeated toxin extraction, began to lose its hold over Lyta. Escaping from her six-month-long psychedelic dreamscape prison, she believed that it was the only way to detain her son without using lethal force. Fearing he would only escape the Phantom Zone and wreak havoc on the universe if they sent him there, both his parents, Seg-El and Lyta, ensnared Zod with the vines, promising that they would keep him in a comatose state for as long as necessary to one day rehabilitate their lost child.

Ramendelli's Bistro - DC Universe Online

A rundown and shabby Italian Bistro located in Gotham City, Ramendelli's Bistro was the scene of a violent showdown between The Huntress and a masked shooter.

Saving the life of his young hostage, who reminded Helena of herself when she was a child, she brutally beat the criminal unconscious, forcing Batman to intervene and hold her back before she could deliver the killing blow.

The Vara Gene - Krypton: Season Two

A rare genetic mutation found on the planet Krypton 1000 cycles before the life of Seg-El, the Vara gene allowed for the host to survive in harsh environments/against harmful pathogens & viruses.

Believing it to be the best chance to end the conflict and bring peace to the wartorn Krypton, Wedna-El and Van-Zod began looking for test subjects to create the perfect supersoldier; weaponising the gene to make someone invulnerable to harm. Screening hundreds of potential candidates, they eventually settled on Dax-Baron, a young Sagitari fighting in the Kandorian/Argo City civil war.

Forcing Baron to endure unimaginable anguish, El and Zod would kill the soldier countless times, only to bring him back for more lethal and creative methods of death, till at last he was permanently altered into an unstoppable hulking mindless behemoth, driven by anger, rage and pain.

Years later, Baron would earn the moniker, Doomsday.

Durla - Young Justice: Phantoms

An uninhabited little world in Apokolips-owned territory, Durla was gifted to Ma'alefa'ak for his loyalty and services to Darkseid.

He would go on to populate the planet with the A'ashenn, giving them a home, free from the systemic racism they suffered under M'arzz's current Caste System.

Durla - Original Timeline - Young Justice: Phantoms

The home planet of Reep Daggle, aka Chameleon Boy, Durla was one of the many planets to fall victim to General Dru-Zod's forces, just a decade after the United Planets released the Kryptonian conqueror and his followers from the Phantom Zone.

This timeline would be drastically altered and changed several times thanks to the actions of Lor-Zod in 2020, leaving the next 100 years a complete mystery to Saturn Girl, Chameleon Boy and Phantom Girl.

Despite these changes, Daggle was still shaken by the memory of Durla's conquest - able to remember the previous timeline due to his exposure to chronoton radiation. Because of this, he was heavily opposed to the Justice League's suggestion to release Zod and the Krptonians from the Phantom Zone, fearing history would repeat itself.

Perigouna - A Midsummer Night's Dream

The daughter of the thief and murderer Sinis, Perigouna (Perigenia) was abducted, sexually assaulted and then abandoned by Theseus while the young man was journeying to the city of Athens to claim his paternal heritage.

The Fairy King Oberon raised the Duke's vile treatment of the young woman in an argument with his wife, Titania, partially blaming the queen for Theseus' actions. He alleged that Titania had seduced Theseus and he was not completely in control of his own actions. However, Titania refuted this claim, dismissing it as defamation of her character and falsehood created so that Oberon could plead himself the guilty party in the breakdown of their marriage since he had been known to have several extra marital affairs.

The Elves - A Midsummer Night's Dream

The Elves, proud inhabitants of the Fairyland, were among the attendees at the regal festivities hosted by Queen Titania in the woods of Athens.

They held a position of power and wealth within the queens court and were often tended to by the Fae, who made garments for them out of the wings of hunted bats.

Fairyland - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Fairyland, ruled by King Oberon and Queen Titania, is a mystical realm where Fae, Elves, and Sprites reside, hidden far from the mortal world.

While there was no official power struggle over the kingdom's rulership, residents were forced to align either with Oberon or Titania, when the couple had temporarily broken up - and moved into separate residencies - after fighting over which one of them would raise a young mortal baby. Forming two rivalling courts that could not coexist peacefully, they would often clash in violent and deadly brawls.

Oberon and Titania, accompanied by their followers, journeyed from Fairyland to the Athenian Woods to attend the wedding celebrations of Theseus, Duke of Athens, and his fiancée, Hippolyta.

Leaving for the celebration as bitter foes, they returned from the festivities unified and stronger than before, unified under one banner.

Cupid - A Midsummer Night's Dream

The son of Venus, Cupid was the God of Love and wielded golden arrows capable of inspiring passionate devotion and lust in those they struck. Reportedly sighted darting around the mortal world, there were many tales surrounding the deity, with some saying that he wore a blindfold, while others purported to have been visually impaired since birth.

It was during one of these misadventures with humans that resulted in the creation of Love-In-Idleness, a pansy flower imbued with his magic. Though this was a complete accident. Cupid had been aiming for a young Vestal, when Diana intervened, using a beam of moonlight to knock the arrow of course. Instead of piercing flesh, the tip struck the flower's white petals. This was not the first time that he and Diana had crossed paths. He harboured enmity towards the Goddess of the Hunt, who he believed often interfered in his amusement for no good reason.

The Athenian maids Hermia and Helena would often invoke Cupid's name and image when expressing their affection for their lovers, Lysander and Demetrius, respectively.

The Fairy King Oberon would call upon the power of Cupid when the monarch used Love In Idleness to enchant his wife, Titania.

The Fae Singers - A Midsummer Night's Dream

The Fae Singers, a talented pair of musicians in Queen Titania's service, accompanied her from Fairyland to the Athenian woods. At Titania's request, they sang her a lullaby, joined by a chorus of fairies to help her fall asleep. Their song was intended to repel serpents, porcupines, hedgehogs, lizards, spiders, beetles, and worms, ensuring Titania's safety during her rest.

Upon completing their task, one of the singers remained on guard while the other returned to their official duties.

Ambushed by Puck & Oberon and knocked unconscious by magic, the fairy king slipped past the sleeping sentinel, cursing her mistress with Love In Idleness.

Puck - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Known as Robin Goodfellow, the hobgoblin Puck gained notoriety as a mischievous trickster and loyal messenger to King Oberon in the realm of Fairyland. He also served as his lord's court jester, capable of eliciting the king's laughter with his jests, even when the monarch was in the foulest of moods.

In his free time, Puck roamed villages by night, playing pranks on the locals. He would use his powers of transmutation and transformation to scare them, earning a fearsome reputation among those who knew of him. That being said, despite his penchant for chaos and games, he was benevolent to those who treated him with respect, helping them and ensuring that they had good luck.

On the eve of Theseus and Hippolyta's wedding, during an argument between Oberon and Titania, Puck warned the fae queen not to interfere with his master's festivities. However, she ignored this advice, slighting her husband's pride and kickstarting the magical shenanigans that would soon follow.

Retrieving the pansey, "Love-in-Idleness"  for Oberon, so that he could bewitch Titania with its enchanted pollen, Puck would also take a small sample to use on an Athenian lover who was seen roaming the forest and spurning the love of Helena.

However, due to miscommunication, he enchanted the wrong lover, mistaking Lysander and Demetrius for one another and causing his patented disorder. Angering Oberon with his numerous failures, the fae monarch ordered his messenger to rectify his mistakes and reversed the effects of "Love-in-Idleness" on Lysander.

Peaseblossom - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Peaseblossom served as a member of Queen Titania's royal court in Fairyland.

Selected as one of four fairies to care for the Athenian weaver Nick Bottom, after Titania is enchanted by the pollen of Cupid's flower "Love-in-Idleness," they attended to Bottom's every need. Among their duties was to scratch and massage him behind his ears.

Once this task was complete, they were dismissed by Queen Titania, who wished to spend some time alone with her "lover".

Mustardseed - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Mustardseed, a loyal and trusted member of Queen Titania's retinue, was summoned to serve under Nick Bottom after Titania fell under the enchantment of "Love-in-Idleness" pollen.

Upon meeting the Athenian weaver, Bottom jestingly remarked about his own experience eating mustard with roast beef, finding the flavour potent enough to bring him to tears.

Later that evening, Mustardseed and his fellow attendee Peaseblossom, were tasked with scratching Bottom's ears before being dismissed by Titania to spend the remainder of the night with her.

Often taking Titania's words literally, Mustardseed frequently bowed and knelt before Bottom, prompting the actor to request him to refrain from such formalities as he was no lord, nor was he royalty.

Cobweb - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Cobweb, a royal attendee and bodyguard in the court of Queen Titania of Fairyland, was among the four fairies assigned to care for Nick Bottom under the queen's command.

During their first encounter, Bottom humorously remarked that he could serve as a bandage if he ever needed one.

Later that evening, Bottom tasked Cobweb with fighting and killing a bumblebee to obtain its honey, cautioning him against damaging the bee's honey sack, for fear that the fae might drown in the treated nectar.

This warning insulted the fae, who found the mortal's words patronising and belittling since Cobweb was a skilled combatant and had been protecting his queen for many years.

Moth - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Moth, a fae retainer in the service of Queen Titania, accompanied Nick Bottom on the eve of Theseus' and Hippolyta's wedding, alongside Peaseblossom, Cobweb, and Mustardseed. Under their mistress's orders, they faithfully served the actor.

Though often overlooked, Moth quietly attended to Bottom's needs. Among their duties were crafting candles from beeswax, feeding Bottom a variety of foods including apricots, grapes, figs, mulberries, and blackberries, and using discarded butterfly wings to shield Bottom's eyes from moonlight, allowing him to sleep undisturbed.

Diana - A Midsummer Night's Dream

The Goddess of the Hunt - patron saint of hunters, - the moon and Virginity in Roman mythology, Diana was a frequent rival of Cupid, able to negate and remove the effects of Cupid's arrows of infatuation and aversion from an individual with no effort.

She was indirectly responsible for the creation of "Love In Idleness" when one of her moonbeams knocked Cupid's arrow off course, causing it to hit the pansy and taint the flower with its magic.

A portion of Diana's power remained on Earth in the form of several buds and white herbs that, like their mistress, could free those who fell under Cupid's spell. Oberon, the King of Fairyland would harvest this plant, utilising its mystical properties to release Titania and Lysander from their curse.

Egeus - A Midsummer Night's Dream

A loyal subject of the Athenian Duke Theseus, Egeus was the authoritarian father of Hermia. He opposed her desire to marry Lysander, insisting that she wed Demetrius instead, threatening her with death if she refused. He dismissed the former's affection for his daughter as mere sport, favouring the latter, who he believed to be far more of a suitable match.

Upon Theseus's intervention, Egeus was content with the Duke's decision to allow Hermia to choose her fate - whether to marry Demetrius, become a priestess, or face death. With the proposal shelved Theseus pulled him aside to discuss his own marriage arrangements.

While out walking with the Duke and his betrothed, Hippolyta, the following day, they all stumbled upon Hermia, Lysander, Helena, and Demetrius sleeping in the woods. Enraged by Hermia's intentions to elope with Lysander, he demanded punishment for the young man, only to be silenced by Theseus's unexpected decree of their marriage.

Unable to change the Duke's mind, he begrudgingly held his tongue.

Kilowog - Flashpoint: Abin Sur, The Green Lantern

A Bolovaxian member of the Green Lantern Corps originating from Bolovax Vik, Kilowog was assigned to space sector 674.

Serving the Corps as their recruitment drill sergeant, he worked as an agent of the Guardians of the Universe, training rookies to become to skilled officers and bring peace to the cosmos.

During Nekron's war against life, Kilowog was murdered by the embodiment of death, joining the ranks of his Black Lantern Corps.

In response to Kilowog's passing and the loss of over two hundred sectors to the resurrected dead, Sinestro hunted down Abin Sur, hoping to create a strike force to take the fight to the Black Lanterns.

Brother Blood - Flashpoint: The World of Flashpoint

A charismatic preacher based in Gotham City, Brother Blood established and led a cult centred around the worship of an apocalyptic end-of-days. His persuasive proselytising attracted many followers to his cause. It was rumoured he was also a drug lord, specialising in heavy narcotics.

Among his disciples was Jason Todd, a young man who initially fell under Blood's influence. Over time, Todd began to perceive Blood as a tyrannical and unstable leader. His experiences within the cult led him to a profound realization about the world: despite its apparent darkness, there remained an inherent goodness and hope. This epiphany significantly influenced Todd's life, inspiring him to join the priesthood after his resurrection.

Joshua - Pokémon: Sword & Shield

An accomplished fighter from the easterly town of Spikemuth, Joshua was an official Gym Trainer under Piers, the town's leader. He joined Team Yell to support Marnie, their hometown representative, during her first-ever Gym Challenge. Like the rest of the team, he concealed his identity and affiliation while Spikemuth.

When other Gym Challengers, Victor and Gloria, breached the perimeter that Team Yell had successfully sealed off, Joshua was taken aback. He went to confront them, but in his haste, he did not finish applying his makeup. It was too late when he realized that his disguise was ruined. He reluctantly revealed the truth about Team Yell seeing no point in continuing the thinly veiled charade that every Yell grunt was, in fact, a Spikemuth Gym Trainer.

Joshua lost in a double battle and wondered whether anyone else had figured out the connection between Team Yell and the town.

The Reverse-Flash - Injustice 2: Story Mode

A meta-human with powers rivalling his arch-nemesis, The Flash, The Reverse-Flash, aka Eobard Thawne was destined to be a villain, long before his birth. Using his knowledge of Barry Allen's past and abilities, he went on to cause despair in Allen's life, committing numerous heinous acts; including the murder of Barry's mother, Nora.

Thawne's violence only escalated when his ancestor became a casualty of The One-Earth Regime, trapping him permanently in the present. With no home to return to and feeling that he had nothing left to lose, he joined The Secret Society, with their leader, Gorilla Grodd promising him the opportunity to destroy those responsible for altering history and creating this paradox, starting with The Flash.

Acting as a backup for Deadshot in the Battle of Metropolis, The Reverse-Flash confront Allen. Racing across the world, he eventually overpowered The Flash in Gotham, where he viciously beat the speedster, releasing his pent-up hatred and disdain for their rivalry, the One-Earth Regime and the current timeline.

Yet, his anger was not enough to secure victory over Allen, and after a second wind from his rival, he was forced to make a hasty retreat.

Regrouping with allies, Reverse-Flash and Captain Cold ambushed Wonder Woman in The Ace o'Clubs. Despite gaining the upper hand momentarily, Diana reflected a blast from his Cold Gun with her gauntlets, freezing him solid. Injured and needing time to heal, he once again made a retreat, fearing that the Amazon would capitalise on his moment of weakness and kill him.

Growing bored with Grodd's plan, and no longer wishing to act as a lackey for Brainiac, Thawne and his fellow lieutenants abandoned The Society, going into hiding until the end of the conflict.

Eobard Thawne - Injustice 2: Story Mode

The real name of The Reverse-Flash, Eobard Thawne was born in the 25th Century, where he grew up in awe of Barry Allen, the Flash. Wishing to be just like his hero, he did all he could to learn about Allen, going so far as to replicate the same experiment that gave him his super-speed.

Going back in time, he was horrified to learn that he was destined to become his idol's arch-nemesis. Lashing out, he embraced this role, wishing to ruin Barry's life. Fighting again and again, he was unable to kill Allen due to the time paradox created by his travels through time, forcing him to come up with new and cruel ways to hurt his foe. The worst of these was his murder of Nora Allen, Barry's mother when he was just a kid.

Still unsatisfied with his pursuit of revenge, Eobard tried to make his schemes bigger. However, this completely backfired when The One Earth Regime rose to power, leading to the death of one of his ancestors, transforming him into a living time-paradox; unable to return back to his time and permanently trapping him in the present.

The Rogues - Injustice 2: Story Mode

Initially a gang of rag-tag thieves from the twin Gem cities, Keystone and Central City, The Rogues were declared state enemies by the One-Earth Regime, when Superman and remnants of the Justice League banded together to form a militant occupation of the planet.

Hunted down and captured by Regime stormtroopers, they were publicly executed by Wonder Woman on the 13th of January 2013, to the delight of the people of Metropolis, who had turned out in droves to watch the spectacle.

The only known survivor was their leader Leonard Snart, aka Captain Cold, who went into hiding. Grief-stricken by the ordeal, he swore vengeance against the Regime and the Amazon.

After hearing about the formation of The Society, Snart eagerly agreed to join Gorilla Grodd and his allies, hoping to use this opportunity to avenge his fallen friends and family.

Known Members:

  • Captain Cold, aka Leonard Snart (Leader & Leader & lone survivor)
  • Golden Glider, aka Lisa Snart: (Deceased)

Dex-Starr - Injustice 2: Story Mode

The Red Lantern of Sector 2814, Dex-Starr, nee Dexter, was a young cat from Williams, Arizona who witnessed the eradication of his hometown town. The sole survivor of the Amazo assault, a Red Power Ring found its way onto his tail, stopping his heart and replacing his bile and blood with napalm and acid.

Swearing fealty to Atrocitus, the leader of the Red Lantern Corps, he became one of his top lieutenants.

Dex-Starr accompanied Atrocitus to Earth in his search for the Green Lantern, Hal Jordan. Though wishing to rip out the human's heart and drink his blood, he restrained himself, affirming Atrocitus's plan to turn Jordan into the newest Red Lantern.

Attacking Jordan in Atlantis, they attempted to push the human to his breaking point, only to be overwhelmed by his sheer willpower. Forced to concede, the pair departed, with Atrocitus vowing that they would return once Brainiac had laid the world to ruins to claim Jordan for their Corps.

Atrocitus - Injustice 2: Story Mode

Originating from Space Sector 666, Atrocitus is the founder and leader of the Red Lantern Corps, a formidable organization committed to exacting vengeance across the universe.

Haunted by the memories of his family and Ysmault's annihilation, Atrocitus embarked on a relentless quest against those responsible, amassing an army of loyal Red Lanterns to his cause. To recruit members into the Red Lanterns, Atrocitus would ignite their fury and rage, encasing them in plasma and blood, before crafting a Red Power Ring from the resulting gore.

Though his Red Lantern Corps were significantly smaller than that of their arch-enemies, the Green Lantern Corps and the Sinestro Corps, they more than made up for it in ferocity and bloodlust. Mercilessly killing any and all agents they met, Atrocitus and the Red Lanterns answered the cries for retribution that had risen up in the universe from the Sinestro Corps' victims.

As he continued his mission, he became fascinated with Hal Jordan, a former Green Lantern who had recently rejoined their ranks after betraying the Corps for Sinestro to become the Yellow Lantern. Sensing Jordan's self-loathing for the crimes he had committed both as a member of the Sinestro Corps and as a lieutenant in the One-Earth Regime, Atrocitus tried to manipulate him into joining the Red Lanterns, subtly influencing his rage from afar. His meddling caused Jordan to experience angry outbursts in response to intense emotions such as impatience and fear.

Satisfied that Jordan was ready to join the Red Lanterns, Atrocitus and Dex-Starr, his most loyal follower confronted the Green Lantern in Atlantis, as the hero fought hard to defend the underwater kingdom from the combined might of The Society and Brainiac's Drones.

Initially overpowering their target, he was surprised by Jordan's willpower and ability to overcome his own hatred, maintaining his Green Ring.

After a brief fight that saw the Red Lantern's defeat, Atrocitus and Dex-Starr took their leave, remarking that the human would join them sooner or later, once Brainiac destroyed the Earth.

Professor Zoom - Injustice 2: Arcade Ending: Reverse Flash

Hailing from another Earth, Eobard Thawne, aka Professor Zoom, was the arch-nemesis of Barry Allen, confronting the Scarlet Speedsters in battles that saw him travel across the Multiverse. This would often lead to ruin and disaster, meeting his own duplicates.

Acutely aware of the potential catastrophe these replicants could cause to the timeline, these encounters would get violent and, in some cases, deadly.

The Black Racer - Injustice 2: Arcade Ending: Reverse Flash

One of the many aspects of the manifestation of Death itself, The Black Racer is a New God who appears to Speedsters before their demise.

Impossible to outrun or outsmart, even the most notorious and knowledgeable Speedsters revile and fear him, knowing he is always a few paces behind them.

Jervis Tetch - Batman: The Long Halloween: Part One

The alter-ego of The Mad Hatter, Jervis Tetch is a costumed criminal in Gotham City, driven by an intense and delusional obsession with Lewis Carroll's works, notably 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.'  His criminal endeavours were shaped by the peculiar yet dark world of Carroll's literature, leading him to adopt a criminal persona often associated with mind-controlling devices reminiscent of elements from the Wonderland tales.

His fascination with this fictional universe extended beyond simple admiration, as he aimed to replicate its eccentricity in Gotham, trapping victims in a distorted rendition of his favourite narratives.

Following his arrest, Tetch's spiralling madness resulted in his commitment to Arkham Asylum, as ordered by Gotham City's District Attorney, Harvey Dent. Here, he became part of Batman's infamous Rogues Gallery, leaving a legacy of unsettling criminal exploits inspired by Carroll's imaginative creations.

The Robin Suit - Batman: Dark Victory

The signature suit of the costumed vigilante Robin, Richard Grayson chose a suit that paid homage to his parents, John and Mary Grayson. The suit was adorned with the bright and vivid colours of red, green, and yellow, mirroring the uniforms worn by his parents during their performances as The Flying Graysons at Hayley's Circus.

Despite Batman's initial disapproval of the yellow cape, fearing it would make Robin an easy target, he respected Grayson's decision and ultimately accepted the design choice.

Robin - Batman: Dark Victory

In the immediate aftermath of The Hang Man's - aka Sofia Falcone Gigante - death, Richard "Dick" Grayson assumed the role of Robin, joining forces with his guardian, Bruce Wayne, aka Batman to become a costumed vigilante.

The sobriquet "Robin" was inspired by his mother, Mary Grayson, who often likened her energetic son to the bird of the same name.

Personally trained by Bruce, Wayne hoped to guide Dick away from a path of cynicism and vengeance, similar to the one he had traversed to become Batman.

Together, Batman & Robin formed a formidable team, nicknamed "the Dynamic Duo" by the press and criminals alike. They protected the city for several years until Dick eventually retired from the role and struck out on his own as Nightwing.

Elizabeth Arkham - Batman: Arkham Asylum

The late mother of Amadeus Arkham, Elizabeth Arkham shared the family’s vision of saving Gotham from tearing itself apart through greed and corruption, raising her son to pursue their goal.

Her health deteriorated rapidly after the passing of her husband, eventually being diagnosed with an aggressive form of dementia that left her unable to look after herself. Spending the remainder of her years in bed, she was cared for by Amadeus.

On the 4th of June 1920, after witnessing how much pain and suffering she was in, Amadeus euthanised Elizabeth, believing that it would bring her peace. Though he never publicly admitted to killing her, simply remarking that she finally succumbs to the disease.

With her death, the family estate and inheritance went to her son, who used the money to commission a psychiatric hospital on the grounds of the family estate. He dedicated the project to her, christening the facility The Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for The Criminally Insane.

The Shark - The Batman Season Five

One-third of the Terrible Trio, The Shark, aka Justin, was a teenage miscreant who used mutagenic chemicals to terrorise the Gotham University Campus, attacking and maiming students who had bullied and teased him because of his size and intelligence.

While primarily the muscle of the group, he would also act as a lookout, ensuring that the Trio could operate without any outside interference.

After several run-ins with Batman and Batgirl, he was eventually defeated and cured by the Dark Knight. Detained by Gotham U Campus security, he was later handed over to the GCPD.

Both he and David were sentenced to the same correctional facility.

Justin - The Batman Season Five

A young student attending Gotham University, Justin was a social pariah, often bullied and mistreated because of his weight and intelligence. Forming a tight-knit group with David and Amber, he came to hate the student body and wished to inflict pain and fear on his tormentors.

Gaining access to the mutagenic chemicals of the former criminal turned University professor Kirk Langstrom, he took on the mantle of Shark, enacting his dark and twisted fantasy. He took pleasure in the chaos he caused and had little sympathy for those hurt in their antics, feeling it was karma.

His crimes were eventually discovered by Batman and Batgirl and, after several confrontations with the pair, was finally taken into police custody.

The Terrible Trio - The Batman Season Five

While not the usual type of villains that Batman and his allies face on a nightly basis, the Terrible Trio as they became known, were no less formidable, exploiting mutagenic chemicals to cause chaos at Gotham University.

Originally a team of embittered and bullied students wanting to retaliate and harm those who made their lives a living hell, David, Amber and Justin took their fantasies of revenge to the extreme, stealing research notes from university Professor Kirk Langstrom, aka Man-Bat and altering the formula to transform them into The Fox, The Vulture and The Shark, animal/human hybrids with enhanced strength, speed and ferocity.

Initially targetting their victims on a small scale, the Trio's plans changed after hearing that the Dean of Gotham University, Steven Philips, was calling for compulsory DNA testing to help stamp out the group and any other potential users of the mutagen. While Shark and Vulture saw this as a threat to their anonymity and personal freedoms, Fox saw it as the perfect opportunity; infect the whole campus and reduce the student body into mindless animals, something that David often remarked, calling Gotham University "a zoo."

The plan was stopped thanks to the intervention of Batman and Batgirl and the Trio were depowered and arrested. They are currently held in Gotham Penitentiary.

The Griffin - The Batman Season Five

Exposed to high quantities of dangerous and experimental mutagen, The Fox, aka Gotham University student David, was transformed into a chimaera form that resembled the Griffin of Ancient Egyptian mythology.

Reduced to pure animal instinct "The Griffin" as he was unofficially dubbed by the student body of Gotham U, tried to kill Batman and Batgirl, only for the Dark Knight to electrocute him into submission.

He was subsequently cured by Batman & GCPD and arrested.

The Fox - The Batman Season Five

The alter-ego of David, The Fox was the de facto leader of The Terrible Trio, using his knowledge to reverse engineer mutagenic patches that allowed them all to take on the forms of super-fast, super-strong human/animal hybrids.

Hunting down his bullies, he took great pleasure in toying with his victims, stalking them before enacting his revenge.

When the Dean of Gotham U vowed to crack down on the Trio's activities by running mandatory DNA testing for all students, he proposed that they infect the whole student body and unleash "the zoo" on the campus.

Creating a mutagen bomb that would explode and release an aerosol variant of the chemical into the atmosphere, infecting all in its vicinity, his plans were scuppered by Batman and Batgirl. Although he destroyed the vial of antidote, he was doused in an entire canister of the mutagenic chemicals, drastically altering his body into a mindless Griffin-like beast.

He was eventually captured and arrested.

David - The Batman Season Five

A sardonic college student with little love for his peers, save for Justin and Amber, David was a social outcast frequently bullied for his slight build and bookish appearance. From a young age, he had admired the vigilante Batman. However, he completely misunderstood what the Dark Knight stood for; he wanted power and control and would use fear to get what he wanted.

When Kirk Langstrom joined the Gotham University faculty, he broke into the professor's office and stole his research. Altering Langstrom's mutagenic formula, which the scientist had used in the past to become the criminal Man-Bat, he would create specialised patches that transformed him into a large and imposing fox.

Taking his revenge on those who abused him, including his roommate Jake, he, Jake and Amber would go on to terrorise Gotham University as The Terrible Trio.

After their reign of terror was ended by Batman and Batgirl, they were arrested and charged for their crimes.

Amber - The Batman Season Five

A bitter and jaded student studying at Gotham University, Amber had a real disdain for sorority houses, who had dismissed her in her early days as a freshman because she did not fit their aesthetic. Feeling outcast and ostracised, she became friends with fellow misfits David and Justin, looking out for one another.

When Kirk Langstrom, the author of the infamous Man-Bat formula was employed at the University as a professor, she broke into his lab, stealing his research notes off his computer.

Now with a variant of the mutagen at their disposal, the three decided to take revenge on their peers, forming The Terrible Trio. Using vulture feathers as the basis for her mutagenic patches, she became The Vulture and terrorised the student body.

When their antics caused the University's Dean, Steven Phillips to call for every student to undergo a drug test to determine who was abusing dangerous chemicals, they planned to infect every one of their classmates, building a chemical bomb that would engulf the entire campus with the formula whilst they were all watching a football game.

However, they were defeated by Batman and Batgirl and arrested.

The Vulture - The Batman Season Five

The alter-ego of Amber, The Vulture was a teenage delinquent who, along with her friends Justin - aka Shark - and David - aka Fox, - formed the Terrible Trio. After stealing research notes off the reformed criminal, turned university professor Kirk Langstrom, she helped develop mutagen patches that allowed her to transform into a vulture/human hybrid, capable of flight, enhaced reflexes and a sharp beak and talons.

Targetting the student body of Gotham University, the Terrible Trio caused mayhem, taking revenge on all the people who bullied and abused her over the years.

Planning to unleash a chemical bomb that would difuse their mutagen across the whole campus, Vulture was incapcitated by Batgirl, who overpowered her, spraying her with an antidote.

Arrested and depowered, she was charged for her crimes and sent to prison.

Kirk Langstrom - The Batman Season Five

After serving his sentence at Arkham Asylum for his crimes as Man-Bat, Kirk Langstrom was hired as a professor at Gotham University. During his tenure, three students infiltrated his lab, hacked his computer, and misappropriated his research on mutagenic chemicals for personal gain.

When Batman and Batgirl visited him, Langstrom maintained his innocence and even assisted the heroes in uncovering the truth about his stolen files, thereby clearing his name.

Utilizing a blood sample from "Gorilla Boy", Langstrom synthesized a fast-acting antidote to the mutagen, capable of reversing its effects within seconds of application.

Jake - The Batman Season Five

A notorious bully at Gotham University, Jake was the roommate of David. Unbeknownst to the athlete and party boy, David was the leader of The Terrible Trio, a group of ostracized students who used mutagen patches to retaliate against their tormentors.

Jake frequently exploited David's meek nature, hosting parties in their dorm room and locking David out. During one incident when David attempted to force his way in, he physically assaulted him, pushing him into a wall. This event marked Jake as the Trio's next target.

Late one night in the gym, Fox ambushed Jake while he was swimming laps in the pool and applied a mutagen patch to his arm. This transformed Jake into a giant, enraged ape, which the GCPD would go on to dub "Gorilla Boy".

Once the effects of the mutagen wore off, Jake was arrested by the police, who held him responsible for his destructive rampage through the university campus.

"Gorilla Boy" - The Batman Season Five

Dubbed "Gorilla Boy" by the Gotham City Police Department, Jake was a notorious bully turned victim of the Terrible Trio.

Ambushed in the abandoned Gotham University Gymnasium by the Trio and was swiftly subdued by Fox, the alter ego of his roommate David, who was often the target of Jake's bullying. Jake was then exposed to a mutagenic patch by Fox, which transformed him into a large, super-strong ape.

After causing havoc on the campus, Jake was apprehended by Batman and Batgirl. They ensured his reversion back to human form before he was taken into police custody and subsequently sent to the hospital for further examination.

Michael - The Batman Season Five

A student at Gotham University, Michael maintained a friendship with classmate Shelley. He was known for his habit of pranking both friends and peers alike.

During a college beach party, Shelley's encounter with "The Shark" during a late-night swim initially led her to believe he was fooling around with a costume pinched from the university's drama department. However,  attempting to unmask her assailant, she quickly realised her mistake and fled.

Shelley - The Batman Season Five

Shelley, a popular student at Gotham University, was known for her active social life, frequently attending parties and gatherings with her friends.

During one such event at a nearby beach, she decided to take a late-night swim alone. As she beckoned others to join her, she was unexpectedly attacked by an individual known as "The Shark".

At first, she mistook him for her friend Michael, attempting to remove what she believed to be a shark costume. She dismissed his scare attempt as clichéd and unimpressive, referring to it as "so Spielberg".

Her initial disbelief and annoyance swiftly turned into terror when she realized that she was not tugging at a costume, but real skin. As she hurried back to the shore, she was confronted by "The Shark's" accomplices, "Fox" and "Vulture".

"Love In Idleness" - A Midsummer Night's Dream

A beautiful pansy growing deep in the woodlands of Ancient Athens, "Love In Idleness" as it became known by the local maidens, was one of a kind. Pierced by one of Cupid's enchanted bolts, the once-white flower turned purple, mutating to produce a powerful elixir embued with the arrow tip's magical properties of amorous love and devotion when coming into contact with a living being.

This love potion could make a person fall in love with the first person they saw upon dripping it in their eyes. However, if the person was already in love, it would have the opposite effect, causing them to feel vitriol, disgust and hatred for their beloved.

Oberon, the king of the fairies, used this flower to acquire the ward of Titania. He made her fall in love with a weaver named Nick Bottom, who had an ass's head transfigured onto him by Puck, Oberon's loyal hobgoblin confidant and paramour.

Puck also used Love-In-Idleness on four Athenian teenagers, Hermia, Lysander, Helena, and Demetrius, who were involved in a complex love triangle. Hermia and Lysander had to flee the city to save their lives as the Duke, Theseus, threatened to execute Hermia if she didn't marry Demetrius instead of Lysander.

Initially, Oberon and Puck found the confusion among the lovers amusing. However, the Fae monarch soon grew tired of it and ordered Puck to release them from the spell with the help of another magical herb in the king's possession.

"Dian's Bud" - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Said to originate from the Goddess Diana, "Dian's Bud," was a magical herb and flower with the remarkable ability to counteract the potent enchantment of "Love-In-Idleness," leaving those affected with vague recollections of their enchanted state.

Both Puck and Oberon used this herb - which the Fairy King kept in his possession - to undo accidental and deliberate enchantments cast on Lysander and Titania.

Woodrue & Isley's Laboratory - Batman: Arkham Knight

Co-shared by Professor Jason Woodrue and his mentee & lover, Dr Pamela Isley, this Seattle-based laboratory was where Woodrue forced Isley to ingest the experimental cocktail of phytohormones that would inevitably lead to the birth of her "Poison Ivy" persona.

Not wishing to stick around and see the results of their experiments, Woodrue fled the scene, leaving his young lover to die, alone, scared and angry.

Golden Glider - Injustice 2: Arcade Ending: Captain Cold

The moniker of Lisa Snart, Golden Glider worked alongside her brother Captain Cold (aka Leonard Snart) and her fellow Rogues. She was well known and respected within Central City's criminal underworld, forming an unforgettable partnership with her sibling; Leonard even considered her the greatest partner he ever had.

When the militant One-Earth Regime took control of the world, she was captured by their forces and personally executed by Wonder Woman on January 13th, 2018.

Lisa Snart - Injustice 2: Arcade Ending: Captain Cold

Born on February 5th, 1993, Lisa Snart was the beloved sister of Leonard Snart and the alter-ego of Golden Glider, working together as members of The Rogues.

On the 13th of January 2013, after being captured by the One-Earth Regime, Wonder Woman publicly executed her. Her passing left Leonard full of resentment towards the Regime and its supporters, who actively cheered and celebrated her death.

Embittered by these traumatic events, he turned his back on The Rogues' no-killing code and joined Gorilla Grodd's Society, believing there was no point in honouring these rules when there were no Rogues left to abide by them.

Realising that Grodd was using The Society as puppets for Brainiac, Cold had a change of heart, concluding that Lisa would not want him to be responsible for mass destruction and genocide. Making amends with their former enemy, Barry Allen, aka The Flash, he collaborated with the Speedster to keep the streets of Central City free from crime. He hoped to honour her memory and make her proud of him.

The Rogues - Injustice 2: Arcade Ending: Captain Cold

Judged as outlaws and enemies of the One-Earth Regime for their criminal past, the Rogues were hunted down and publicly executed by Wonder Woman and their enforcers in January 2013.

As the only one of their number to survive, Captain Cold (aka Leonard Snart) swore vengeance against the Amazon and all those responsible, joining Gorilla Grodd's cabal, The Society, to hunt down and destroy the underground remnants of the Regime that went into hiding following the defeat of the High Chancellor.

Edward Skeevers - Batman: Dark Victory

The head of Gotham's Skeevers Crime Family, Edward Skeevers, along with his younger brother Jefferson were business associates of Carmine Falcone, responsible for the importing, exporting, and trafficking of stolen goods for "The Roman Empire".

Despite Carmine's death at the end of The Long Halloween, he continued to work with the Falcones, swearing loyalty to The Roman's daughter, Sophia Falcone Gigante.

However, his own operations were drastically weakened by Carmine's passing, as smaller gangs rose up against them. One such opponent was Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, aka The Penguin. During a firefight between Cobblepot and his gang, he was shot in the arm, barely escaping with his life thanks to the timely intervention of both Batman and Anthony Zucco; the former arrested Penguin and his associates, while the latter got him to safety.

Grateful to Zucco for his assistance, Edward formed a coalition with the up-and-coming gangster, acting as his right-hand man.

With the GCPD and Batman cracking down on their operations, Anthony proposed that they find other means to continue their operation, hijacking a legitimate business to serve as a front for their own operations. They settled for Haley's Circus, concluding that the size of the group would be ideal for covering their tracks, especially as the Circus was always in and out of Gotham without facing any legal issues.

After the owner refused, they took matters into their own hands, sabotaging the trapeze and killing their headline acts, The Flying Graysons. While Zucco felt safe and assured that they had sent a message to Haly, Eddie remained unconvinced suggesting that they also kill the Grayson's only surviving member, Dick to ensure that he could not reveal anything he may have accidentally witnessed to the G.C.P.D.

During the Columbus Day Massacre Eddie was attacked outside of The Tiger Room by Mr. Freeze. Although he tried to defend himself from his assailant, he was far too slow to shoot his assailant and was frozen on the spot.

Although he was survived by Jefferson, the Skeever Crime Family could not recover, collapsing with the rest of The Roman Empire.

"The Werewolf" - The Batman Adventures

Dubbed "The Werewolf" by the Gotham Press, he was the alter-ego of Anthony Romulus, a former successful Olympic athlete who sold himself into the service of Professor Milo for power and the means to maintain his prowess. Ingesting an experimental serum containing wolf DNA and hormones, he was granted enhanced strength and durability. However, the mutagen also caused Romulus to transform into a werewolf, losing all control and succumbing to his animalistic instincts.

After Milo betrays him and a confrontation with Batman that sees him plummeting into the river, he attempts to find a way to cure himself of the mutagen's effects.

Seeking the infamous geneticist Emile Dorian on his private island, he instead stumbled upon Dorian's creation Tygrus, pleading with him to help him find his "Father."

Despite his best efforts to keep his Werewolf persona in check, he eventually transformed in the middle of the streets of Gotham and went on a rampage. Tracking down Dorian in a private lab, he attempted to maul the scientist to death, only to be attacked by Man-Bat and Tygrus. The ensuing fight caused a lab explosion that seemingly killed them all. However, his body was never discovered by Batman during his investigation into the wreckage.

Captain Clown - Batman: The Animated Series: Season One

An android commissioned by the Joker, Captain Clown was a member of the Clown Prince's gang.

During one of his more bizarre capers, Captain Clown was tasked with piloting a garbage barge laden with the Joker's infamous laughing toxin down Gotham River, spreading chaos throughout the city.

After several attempts to neutralize the robot, Batman finally succeeds, knocking them into a car crusher. Reduced to a compact metal cube, the Joker was furious by the demise of his android creation, vowing to make his nemesis pay.

Making a tactical retreat on the Captain's remains, Joker escaped into the Gotham Foundary, letting the cube fall unceremoniously into a vat of molten metal.

Van-Zod - Krypton: Season Two

A distant descendent of The House of Zod, 1000 cycles before the rise of Dru Zod, Van-Zod was a Kryptonian scientist working towards ending the violent civil war - between Argo City and Kandor - that tore across his homeworld.

Forming a partnership with fellow biologist Wedna-El, he conducted numerous experiments on Dax-Baron, attempting to forcibly activate Baron's Vara Gene and turn the young Sagitari into an invulnerable "supersoldier."

Unlike El, he took no pleasure in their project, feeling increasingly guilty with each death and resurrection they forced Baron to endure. Finally calling out Wedna's callous and unfeeling attitude towards their victim, he argued that they should abort the undertaking. Nevertheless, this suggestion was met with derision and outrage from El, whose sentiment that the ends justify the means pushed them to continue till the bitter end.

Confronted by Dax's wife, Enaj, after the war, Van profusely apologised to the Sagitari for his part in the research, adding that both the Houses of Zod and El failed the Baron family, destroying their life and future happiness.

After the - now - heavily mutated and indomitable Baron broke free from his containment unit and began rampaging around the laboratory, slaying everyone in sight, he agreed to help El once more to contain the behemoth.

Wedna-El - Krypton: Season Two

A forebear of the House of El, Wedna-El was a preeminent biologist who wished to use science to end the Kandor-Argo City Civil War that threatened to destroy Krypton. To do this, she and fellow scientist  Van-Zod sought the creation of the perfect supersoldier, focusing their efforts on finding theVara Gene, a rare genetic marker capable of, with extreme pressure, allowing for the development of impressive abilities.

Screening hundreds of potential candidates, she eventually settled for Dax-Baron, a young Sagitari dedicated to their cause. Promising the freedom fighter that they could unlock his full potential and make him a hero for a safer Krypton - for his wife and daughter - they began their experiments.

Although she reassured Dax's wife, Enaj that her husband would be alright, Wedna subjected him to cruel and countless trials that saw him repeatedly die, be resurrected and die once again. Each time she would increase the severity to push him to his limits, and more often than not, past them.

Angered by Zod's reticence towards the experiment, she snapped at his protests, reminding him that their work was vital for winning the war since the Kandorians were slaughtering their forces in larger numbers than they could even quantify. Disregarding their principles, Wedna convinced the reluctant Van to see the project through to its inevitable conclusion, no matter the cost.

With the war won, Wedna and Van were confronted by Enaj, demanding that they return her husband to her. Unable to do so without causing emotional distress to both parties, she did her best to tell Enaj that Dax was no longer the man she had married. Furthermore, she refused to cooperate with the enraged Sagitari's demands, adding that Baron was the key to ending any war on Krypton, especially now that Krypton's peace was on a constant knife's edge.

Held at gunpoint and seeing no other choice, she reluctantly presented their work. Revolted by Wedna and Van's cruel and barbaric treatment of her husband, she could not believe what they had turned him into; a hulking, violent monstrosity with barely anything left of the man she once loved.

Forced to watch Baron lose his last semblance of compassion and self-control, going on a mass killing spree, she reluctantly captured and sealed Krypton's sentient Doomsday weapon away in a containment chamber hidden in the Outlands.

Enaj-Baron - Krypton: Season Two

An officer in the Sagitari alongside her husband, Dax, Enaj-Baron lived 1000 cycles ago, during the Kandor-Argo City civil war that had plunged Krpton to near decimation. She did her best to raise their daughter in a time of war and bloodshed, however, she was always fearful for her family's wellbeing.

When her husband was chosen to partake in a special project that was said to turn him into a super-soldier, Enaj had reservations about the safety of the experiment. Nevertheless, she stood by his decision, making him promise that he would come home to both her and their daughter when he had won the war and brought peace to Krypton.

Saying her final goodbye to Dax, she continued to do her bit for the war effort, unaware that Wedna-El and Van-Zod were destroying her husband one little piece at a time, till there was nothing left of him by the time of her return and the end of the war.

Telling the scientists the tidings of peace decreed by Jo-Mon, Enaj asked to see to husband so they could be reunited as a family once more. When Wedna refused her polite request turned into a demand, holding the two scientists at gunpoint and threatening to shoot them if they did not comply. Unmoved by El's attempts to placate her and the fact that he may be required to serve in future conflicts should this tentative peace fail to last, she went to his containment unit expecting to see her husband. However, she was terrified by Dax's heavily mutated and monstrous appearance.

Sickened by what the scientists had done to him, she fled the laboratory distraught, leaving Dax alone with his tormentors. This final rejection pushed him over the edge, leading to the behemoth breaking free from the unit and going on a rampage across Krypton; no longer Dax-Baron, only a sentient weapon of mass destruction dubbed Doomsday.

Dax-Baron - Krypton: Season Two

A Sagitari born on the planet Krypton 1000 cycles ago, Dax-Baron volunteered to participate in a scientific experiment that would turn him into the perfect super-soldier, hoping to help end the Kandor-Argo City civil war and make Krypton a safer place for his family to grow up in.

Testing positive for the irregular Vara Gene, scientists Wedna-El and Van-Zod thought they could exploit this mutation and make him invulnerable to lethal harm. To experiment with this hypothesis they continuously tortured Baron, killing him over and over and over again, each time resurrecting him to face more pain and death. After each death, whether from immolation or exposure to lethal pathogens, his body adapted, physically changing to survive the treatment, till at last, after four hundred and fifty-five attempts, he was unrecognisable as the man he once was.

With the war over, Enaj returned to the lab, demanding that she be allowed to see Baron. Ignoring their protests, she tried to make contact with her husband, only to be horrified at what El and Zod had done to him in the name of science and warfare. Trying to reach out to his wife and prove that he was still the man she knew and loved, Baron was heartbroken by her tearful rejection.

Turning on his captors, he broke free from his cell and went on a rampage, slaying all in his path.

Watching in shock and regret at the ruin they had caused and the lives they had destroyed, El and Zod agreed to take drastic action; since he was not seemingly incapable of dying thanks to the Vara Gene and his own mutation, they would have to capture and contain him somewhere that he could never get away from.

Eventually succeeding in this goal, he was stored deep below the surface of Krypton, in a facility that only an El and a Zod working together could access. Left alone for centuries, his name was lost to time, only being referenced in legend as Doomsday, the Beast of the Outlands.

Dax and Enaj's Daughter Krypton: Season Two

Raised on Krypton during the time of the great Kandor-Argo City civil war, the young daughter of Dax-Baron and his wife Enaj was a great source of pride for her father, leading to Dax volunteering to undergo scientific experiments to become a super-soldier hero and the protector of Argo City.

Growing up believing that her father was bravely fighting to help "build a better tomorrow" for Krypton and their people, she never saw him again, thanks to the horrific trials of Wedna-El and Van-Zod that resulted in Baron, mutating into a monstrous, bestial entity; the beast of the outlands who would go on to be anointed as Doomsday.

Anthony Romulus - The Batman Adventures

An Athlete and philanthropist, Anthony "Tony" Romulus's life was changed forever in his pursuit of fame and success. Wishing to make a name for himself, he agreed to be a guinea pig for Professor Milo, experimenting with unstable mutagenic compounds that would see him cursed as a werewolf, transforming into a monstrous creature during the full moon.

Desperately searching for a cure before the effects become permanent, no matter the cost, he sought out the finest minds in animal gene splicing. His hunt led him to the island of Doctor Emile Dorian, a brilliant biochemist who had a reputation for performing unethical experiments on humans.

Unable to find Dorian, he struck a bargain with one of Emile's creations, Tygrus. In return for finding Dorian, he would lead Tygrus to the home of Selina Kyle, whom the latter had fallen in love with during their first encounter.

However, before the deal could be fulfilled, he transformed into his werewolf form, going on a violent and destructive outburst that would see him seemingly meet his end in a lab accident, alongside Dorian, Tygrus and Man-Bat.

Man-Bat - The Batman Adventures

The alter-ego of Dr Kirk Langstrom, Man-Bat is a brilliant biochemist and former associate and partner of the infamous Dr Emile Dorian. When in this feral state, he is stripped of his intelligence, merely acting on primal rage, instinct and blood-lust.

Targeted by his ex-colleague, Kirk was forcibly injected with a heavily modified version of the Man-Bat formula, transforming him into the Man-Bat hybrid and removing his free will.

Now Dorian's puppet in his revenge scheme against Batman and Selina Kyle, he was sent to gather various mutagenic chemicals needed for Dorian's signature formula, T-99. Satisfied that everything was ready, the geneticist then ordered him to ambush both targets, bringing them to his laboratory in Downtown Gotham.

Unable to break free from Dorian's influence, he protected the doctor when he came under attack from The Werewolf, fighting off the enraged lycanthrope as the lab burned around them. While Man-Bat was believed to have died in the chaos, his body was never found.

Tygrus - The Batman Adventures

A man-made creation of Dr Emile Dorian, Tygrus chose to live an isolated existence on Dorian's abandoned island after the geneticist was arrested by Batman and incarcerated in Arkham Asylum. There he lived in relative peace. However, this was somewhat disturbed by G.C.P.D, forcing him to hide away out of sight.

Encountering the werewolf Anthony Romulus, he reluctantly agreed to track down Dorian, on the condition that the former athlete took him to see Selina Kyle, the woman he had loved and lost.

Witnessing Man-Bat abducting Kyle from her apartment, he gave chase, coming face-to-face with Dorian. Pleading his "father" to release Selina, he reluctantly agreed to transfer his consciousness into Batman's body, hoping that if he were human, Kyle would reciprocate his feelings.

Realising that what he was doing would only alienate any of her affection, and seeing Dorian attacked by the out-of-control Werewolf, Tygrus broke free from the machine and rushed to defend his family. However, the ensuing fight caused a fire that would burn through the entire lab, seemingly engulfing Man-Bat, Dorian, Romulus and Tygrus himself in the blaze.

Due to his genetically modified strength, stamina, and endurance, he might have survived the incident, since Batman was unable to find any of the four combatants' bodies.

Anthony Romulus - Batman: The Animated Series

A highly successful pentathlete and philanthropist, Anthony "Tony" Romulus found fame after winning the gold medal in the long jump, high jump, discuss, 100 and 300 meters sprint at the Autumn Games. However, he didn't accomplish this through hard work and dedication, but instead by using an experimental steroid created by Professor Achilles Milo. This untraceable stimulant, derived from timberwolf hormones, gave him immense strength, endurance, and fitness.

Earning status, wealth and power, Tony made a name for himself in Gotham's charitable and sporting circles. However, his newfound fortune went to his head, leading to a violent confrontation with Milo. Tony broke off their partnership and threw the scientist out of his mansion.

He soon came to regret the decision after the formula started reacting with his body during nights with a full moon, causing a partial lycanthropic transformation. Terrified and desperate for a cure, he begged Milo for help, only for the biochemist to list several conditions and assignments for him to complete - without question or failure - before he considered the request.

Now a mere pawn for Milo, Tony was forced to transform into "The Werewolf" and assassinate Milo's associates. During one of these missions, he encountered Batman, escaping the scene before his target, John Hamner, was dead. Angered by his incompetence, Milo charged Tony with killing Batman to exact revenge for his persistent interference.

Milo and Tony set a trap for Batman, capturing and subduing the vigilante when he arrives at the athlete's mansion. Tony transformed into the werewolf once more and attacked Milo, putting him in the hospital, before going after Batman in a fierce fight at the Gotham Colosseum.

Defeated, disgraced and terrified that he'd lost his only known chance for a cure, he left Gotham in search of a permanent solution to his condition that would not involve strings. Professor Achilles Milo - Batman: The Animated Series

An unscrupulous scientist with a terrible reputation for unethical practices, Professor Achilles Milo's expertise was biology and genetics, tampering with the DNA of animals for highly illegal pursuits; from developing man-made rabies-like viruses to using hormones for experimental street drugs and steroids.

One of his ongoing projects involved testing a mutagenic performance-enhancing drug on the former Olympic athlete, Anthony Romulus. Originally hired by Anthony to find a way to increase his performance in the Autumn Games, the scientist took his revenge on the athlete after he tried to go back on their deal, eager to keep all the wealth he had amassed for himself.

After the steroids began displaying disastrous side effects, transforming Romulus into an uncontrollable werewolf creature, Milo promised to cure him of his lycanthropy, only if he agreed to work for him as his enforcer. Romulus begrudgingly conceded to this arrangement, becoming a mercenary whenever the professor needed someone to be eliminated.

Once more coming up in opposition against Batman, he ordered Romulus to kill the Dark Knight, successfully taking the vigilante prisoner. However, in his arrogance, he loses control of his enforcer, who viciously attacks him, before focusing on Batman.

Brought to the hospital with a police escort, he smugly told Commissioner Jim Gordon that despite finding him at the scene of the crime, the GCPD had no evidence to link him to the Romulus affair. However, Gordon rebutted that Milo shouldn't be so overconfident, since he was not as competent and discreet as he believed.

John Hamner - Batman: The Animated Series

A security guard employed at Gotham Zoo, John Hamner, was hired by an unknown party to help procure a pair of Alaskan Timber Wolves that were being housed at the zoo. Desperate to make a quick buck, he left the wolves' cage unlocked before he left, turning a blind eye to the theft and feigning ignorance the next day when the crime was discovered.

Paid handsomely for his trouble, he believed he got away high and dry, unaware that his employer, Dr Achilles Milo had other plans. Wishing to silence Hamner and reclaim the thousand-dollar bribe, the geneticist ordered "The Werewolf", aka Anthony Romulus to assassinate him.

Attacked while out walking his dog late one evening, he attempted to flee, only to be knocked unconscious by his assailant and thrown off the bridge into the pond. If not for the intervention of Batman, he would have drowned.

Returning to work a few days later, he was confronted by Detective Harvey Bullock who was investigating the theft of the wolves. With undeniable evidence against him, Hamner was arrested for dereliction of duty, bribery, and being an accomplice to the crime.

Their revelries were interrupted by Oberon's magical antics, who used the influence of Love-in-Idleness to take custody of the child and add him to his cortege.

Seeing their eagerness for redemption and forgiveness, she tasked them with leading Macbeth to a violent downfall befitting the treacherous soldier. Watching the latter during their rehearsals, Philostrate openly mocked their poor acting and stagecraft, believing that they were all terribly miscast.

Her death profoundly moved Titania, who decided to adopt the baby as her own ward, leading the Fairy Queen to discreetly swap the infant for a Changeling.

Titania's unyielding defiance towards Oberon's wishes to foster the boy himself stemmed from the Queen's fondness for her consort. After being denied custody of the boy, the final straw in their already failing marriage, the Queen and King parted ways, setting up two rival factions. Titania's grip on the boy only tightened, knowing full well that Oberon would doggedly persist until he eventually got what he wanted.

Resorting to put her under the influence of Love-in-Idleness, Titania finally relented to his demands, ordering her attendees to have the boy moved to Oberon's Bower.
