Hecate - Macbeth

The goddess and patron of Witchcraft, Hecate ruled over the Weird Sisters and their coven, bestowing on them their magical abilities of prophetic vision and spells, in exchange for their worship.

Discovering that the three witches had entreated Macbeth, she angrily reprimanded her supporters, remarking that they had no right to do this without consultation. Noting how much blood had been spilt in the Thane's quest for dominance and Kingship, she went on to demand that they withdraw their championship, believing that he was merely a tyrant not deserving of their council.

Seeing their eagerness for redemption and forgiveness, she tasked them with leading Macbeth to a violent downfall befitting the treacherous soldier. Requesting that they meet her in Hell the next day, she set about gathering ingredients for a powerful illusion spell, starting with droplets of pure moonlight.

Rendezvousing with the Weird Sisters, Hecate congratulated them for their potion, promising rewards for services rendered. Taking her leave, she entrusts that the coven of six complete the ritual of Black Spirits while she attends to other business.
