Diana - A Midsummer Night's Dream

The Goddess of the Hunt - patron saint of hunters, - the moon and Virginity in Roman mythology, Diana was a frequent rival of Cupid, able to negate and remove the effects of Cupid's arrows of infatuation and aversion from an individual with no effort.

She was indirectly responsible for the creation of "Love In Idleness" when one of her moonbeams knocked Cupid's arrow off course, causing it to hit the pansy and taint the flower with its magic.

A portion of Diana's power remained on Earth in the form of several buds and white herbs that, like their mistress, could free those who fell under Cupid's spell. Oberon, the King of Fairyland would harvest this plant, utilising its mystical properties to release Titania and Lysander from their curse.

Egeus - A Midsummer Night's Dream

A loyal subject of the Athenian Duke Theseus, Egeus was the authoritarian father of Hermia. He opposed her desire to marry Lysander, insisting that she wed Demetrius instead, threatening her with death if she refused. He dismissed the former's affection for his daughter as mere sport, favouring the latter, who he believed to be far more of a suitable match.

Upon Theseus's intervention, Egeus was content with the Duke's decision to allow Hermia to choose her fate - whether to marry Demetrius, become a priestess, or face death. With the proposal shelved Theseus pulled him aside to discuss his own marriage arrangements.

While out walking with the Duke and his betrothed, Hippolyta, the following day, they all stumbled upon Hermia, Lysander, Helena, and Demetrius sleeping in the woods. Enraged by Hermia's intentions to elope with Lysander, he demanded punishment for the young man, only to be silenced by Theseus's unexpected decree of their marriage.

Unable to change the Duke's mind, he begrudgingly held his tongue.

Kilowog - Flashpoint: Abin Sur, The Green Lantern

A Bolovaxian member of the Green Lantern Corps originating from Bolovax Vik, Kilowog was assigned to space sector 674.

Serving the Corps as their recruitment drill sergeant, he worked as an agent of the Guardians of the Universe, training rookies to become to skilled officers and bring peace to the cosmos.

During Nekron's war against life, Kilowog was murdered by the embodiment of death, joining the ranks of his Black Lantern Corps.

In response to Kilowog's passing and the loss of over two hundred sectors to the resurrected dead, Sinestro hunted down Abin Sur, hoping to create a strike force to take the fight to the Black Lanterns.

Brother Blood - Flashpoint: The World of Flashpoint

A charismatic preacher based in Gotham City, Brother Blood established and led a cult centred around the worship of an apocalyptic end-of-days. His persuasive proselytising attracted many followers to his cause. It was rumoured he was also a drug lord, specialising in heavy narcotics.

Among his disciples was Jason Todd, a young man who initially fell under Blood's influence. Over time, Todd began to perceive Blood as a tyrannical and unstable leader. His experiences within the cult led him to a profound realization about the world: despite its apparent darkness, there remained an inherent goodness and hope. This epiphany significantly influenced Todd's life, inspiring him to join the priesthood after his resurrection.

Joshua - Pokémon: Sword & Shield

An accomplished fighter from the easterly town of Spikemuth, Joshua was an official Gym Trainer under Piers, the town's leader. He joined Team Yell to support Marnie, their hometown representative, during her first-ever Gym Challenge. Like the rest of the team, he concealed his identity and affiliation while Spikemuth.

When other Gym Challengers, Victor and Gloria, breached the perimeter that Team Yell had successfully sealed off, Joshua was taken aback. He went to confront them, but in his haste, he did not finish applying his makeup. It was too late when he realized that his disguise was ruined. He reluctantly revealed the truth about Team Yell seeing no point in continuing the thinly veiled charade that every Yell grunt was, in fact, a Spikemuth Gym Trainer.

Joshua lost in a double battle and wondered whether anyone else had figured out the connection between Team Yell and the town.

The Reverse-Flash - Injustice 2: Story Mode

A meta-human with powers rivalling his arch-nemesis, The Flash, The Reverse-Flash, aka Eobard Thawne was destined to be a villain, long before his birth. Using his knowledge of Barry Allen's past and abilities, he went on to cause despair in Allen's life, committing numerous heinous acts; including the murder of Barry's mother, Nora.

Thawne's violence only escalated when his ancestor became a casualty of The One-Earth Regime, trapping him permanently in the present. With no home to return to and feeling that he had nothing left to lose, he joined The Secret Society, with their leader, Gorilla Grodd promising him the opportunity to destroy those responsible for altering history and creating this paradox, starting with The Flash.

Acting as a backup for Deadshot in the Battle of Metropolis, The Reverse-Flash confront Allen. Racing across the world, he eventually overpowered The Flash in Gotham, where he viciously beat the speedster, releasing his pent-up hatred and disdain for their rivalry, the One-Earth Regime and the current timeline.

Yet, his anger was not enough to secure victory over Allen, and after a second wind from his rival, he was forced to make a hasty retreat.

Regrouping with allies, Reverse-Flash and Captain Cold ambushed Wonder Woman in The Ace o'Clubs. Despite gaining the upper hand momentarily, Diana reflected a blast from his Cold Gun with her gauntlets, freezing him solid. Injured and needing time to heal, he once again made a retreat, fearing that the Amazon would capitalise on his moment of weakness and kill him.

Growing bored with Grodd's plan, and no longer wishing to act as a lackey for Brainiac, Thawne and his fellow lieutenants abandoned The Society, going into hiding until the end of the conflict.

Eobard Thawne - Injustice 2: Story Mode

The real name of The Reverse-Flash, Eobard Thawne was born in the 25th Century, where he grew up in awe of Barry Allen, the Flash. Wishing to be just like his hero, he did all he could to learn about Allen, going so far as to replicate the same experiment that gave him his super-speed.

Going back in time, he was horrified to learn that he was destined to become his idol's arch-nemesis. Lashing out, he embraced this role, wishing to ruin Barry's life. Fighting again and again, he was unable to kill Allen due to the time paradox created by his travels through time, forcing him to come up with new and cruel ways to hurt his foe. The worst of these was his murder of Nora Allen, Barry's mother when he was just a kid.

Still unsatisfied with his pursuit of revenge, Eobard tried to make his schemes bigger. However, this completely backfired when The One Earth Regime rose to power, leading to the death of one of his ancestors, transforming him into a living time-paradox; unable to return back to his time and permanently trapping him in the present.

The Rogues - Injustice 2: Story Mode

Initially a gang of rag-tag thieves from the twin Gem cities, Keystone and Central City, The Rogues were declared state enemies by the One-Earth Regime, when Superman and remnants of the Justice League banded together to form a militant occupation of the planet.

Hunted down and captured by Regime stormtroopers, they were publicly executed by Wonder Woman on the 13th of January 2013, to the delight of the people of Metropolis, who had turned out in droves to watch the spectacle.

The only known survivor was their leader Leonard Snart, aka Captain Cold, who went into hiding. Grief-stricken by the ordeal, he swore vengeance against the Regime and the Amazon.

After hearing about the formation of The Society, Snart eagerly agreed to join Gorilla Grodd and his allies, hoping to use this opportunity to avenge his fallen friends and family.

Known Members:

  • Captain Cold, aka Leonard Snart (Leader & Leader & lone survivor)
  • Golden Glider, aka Lisa Snart: (Deceased)

Dex-Starr - Injustice 2: Story Mode

The Red Lantern of Sector 2814, Dex-Starr, nee Dexter, was a young cat from Williams, Arizona who witnessed the eradication of his hometown town. The sole survivor of the Amazo assault, a Red Power Ring found its way onto his tail, stopping his heart and replacing his bile and blood with napalm and acid.

Swearing fealty to Atrocitus, the leader of the Red Lantern Corps, he became one of his top lieutenants.

Dex-Starr accompanied Atrocitus to Earth in his search for the Green Lantern, Hal Jordan. Though wishing to rip out the human's heart and drink his blood, he restrained himself, affirming Atrocitus's plan to turn Jordan into the newest Red Lantern.

Attacking Jordan in Atlantis, they attempted to push the human to his breaking point, only to be overwhelmed by his sheer willpower. Forced to concede, the pair departed, with Atrocitus vowing that they would return once Brainiac had laid the world to ruins to claim Jordan for their Corps.

Atrocitus - Injustice 2: Story Mode

Originating from Space Sector 666, Atrocitus is the founder and leader of the Red Lantern Corps, a formidable organization committed to exacting vengeance across the universe.

Haunted by the memories of his family and Ysmault's annihilation, Atrocitus embarked on a relentless quest against those responsible, amassing an army of loyal Red Lanterns to his cause. To recruit members into the Red Lanterns, Atrocitus would ignite their fury and rage, encasing them in plasma and blood, before crafting a Red Power Ring from the resulting gore.

Though his Red Lantern Corps were significantly smaller than that of their arch-enemies, the Green Lantern Corps and the Sinestro Corps, they more than made up for it in ferocity and bloodlust. Mercilessly killing any and all agents they met, Atrocitus and the Red Lanterns answered the cries for retribution that had risen up in the universe from the Sinestro Corps' victims.

As he continued his mission, he became fascinated with Hal Jordan, a former Green Lantern who had recently rejoined their ranks after betraying the Corps for Sinestro to become the Yellow Lantern. Sensing Jordan's self-loathing for the crimes he had committed both as a member of the Sinestro Corps and as a lieutenant in the One-Earth Regime, Atrocitus tried to manipulate him into joining the Red Lanterns, subtly influencing his rage from afar. His meddling caused Jordan to experience angry outbursts in response to intense emotions such as impatience and fear.

Satisfied that Jordan was ready to join the Red Lanterns, Atrocitus and Dex-Starr, his most loyal follower confronted the Green Lantern in Atlantis, as the hero fought hard to defend the underwater kingdom from the combined might of The Society and Brainiac's Drones.

Initially overpowering their target, he was surprised by Jordan's willpower and ability to overcome his own hatred, maintaining his Green Ring.

After a brief fight that saw the Red Lantern's defeat, Atrocitus and Dex-Starr took their leave, remarking that the human would join them sooner or later, once Brainiac destroyed the Earth.

Professor Zoom - Injustice 2: Arcade Ending: Reverse Flash

Hailing from another Earth, Eobard Thawne, aka Professor Zoom, was the arch-nemesis of Barry Allen, confronting the Scarlet Speedsters in battles that saw him travel across the Multiverse. This would often lead to ruin and disaster, meeting his own duplicates.

Acutely aware of the potential catastrophe these replicants could cause to the timeline, these encounters would get violent and, in some cases, deadly.

The Black Racer - Injustice 2: Arcade Ending: Reverse Flash

One of the many aspects of the manifestation of Death itself, The Black Racer is a New God who appears to Speedsters before their demise.

Impossible to outrun or outsmart, even the most notorious and knowledgeable Speedsters revile and fear him, knowing he is always a few paces behind them.
