The former lover of Theseus, Duke of Athens, Ariadne and Theseus parted ways after the latter engaged in a sexual relationship with the Fairy Queen, Titania.
She was not the first woman Theseus cheated on with Titania, and was not the last, going on to have an affair with Antiopa before finally settling down with his latest paramour, Hippolyta.
